The APX 702 Lift & Slide / Multi-Slide Door System combines a sleek aluminum design with the ability to create expansive openings and uninterrupted views. Engineered with premium European hardware, the system lifts the door panel off of the track for exceptionally smooth and effortless operation, even with large glass panels. Designed for modern architecture, the APX 702 delivers clean sightlines, reliable performance, and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The APX 702 Lift & Slide Door System is designed to glide effortlessly across the sill no matter the panel size. When the handle is turned, the door panel lifts slightly off the track, reducing friction and allowing the panel to glide open with ease; when closed, it lowers back onto the sill to create a tight, secure, and weather-resistant seal. This upgraded system offers improved performance, smoother operation, and the ability to accommodate larger glass panels compared to traditional sliding doors, making it an ideal solution for expansive modern openings.

Glass

All ARC products come standard with tempered safety glass for enhanced strength and durability. Our systems are available with dual-pane or triple-pane insulated glass, allowing you to tailor performance to meet energy efficiency goals, climate conditions, and building code requirements.

Our standard glazing includes Low-E coatings and argon gas between the panes to help improve thermal performance and comfort inside the home. A variety of decorative and specialty glass options are also available to meet the unique design and performance needs of each project.

Laminated glazing can be specified in clear, bronze, gray, or green, with additional tinted interlayer options.

For projects with specialized requirements, we offer glass solutions designed for sound control (STC/OITC), high-altitude applications, coastal environments, sea turtle conservation zones, California fire zones, and hurricane-rated systems. Not all decorative glass options are compatible with every product configuration. Please consult with your dealer or project specialist to determine the best glass package for your specific application.

Hardware

The APX 702 Multi-Slide Door System features premium Hoppe hardware designed for both durability and modern aesthetics. Standard multi-slide panels are equipped with a sleek pull-style handle with an integrated latch lock, available in Chrome, Black, White, and Bronze finishes to complement the door system. For lift-and-slide configurations, the hardware upgrades to a larger lever handle that lifts and lowers the panel during operation, allowing the door to glide effortlessly across the track while maintaining the same finish options for a cohesive look.

Configurations

The APX 702 Multi-Slide Door System offers a wide range of configuration options designed to accommodate expansive openings and unique architectural layouts. Panels can be configured in multi-stacking, pocketing, or fixed and sliding combinations, allowing the system to open from one direction, split from the center, or disappear completely into a wall pocket. For more dramatic designs, the system can also be configured as zero-post corners, flex corner layouts, and large multi-panel arrangements, giving architects and homeowners the flexibility to create seamless indoor-outdoor transitions while maximizing glass and unobstructed views.

Screen

ARC doors feature an integrated retractable screen discreetly housed within the interior door jamb and attached directly to the door frame. The screen easily pulls across from the side when ventilation is needed, providing convenient functionality without permanently interrupting the view. When not in use, the screen retracts and remains concealed within the frame, preserving the clean lines and expansive views that define the ARC Door system.

Divided Lites

Because each door is built to order, we offer extensive flexibility when it comes to divided light and grid configurations. Grid layouts can be fully customized to match the architectural intent of the project, allowing for a range of styles from modern flat bar grids to more traditional or industrial pitch profiles. Grid size, spacing, and pattern can also be tailored to achieve the desired look, giving designers and homeowners the freedom to create a truly custom door aesthetic.
